about

Simone Haack (born 1978) grew up in Gyhum, an old village of 400 souls between Bremen and Hamburg. The North German landscape of her childhood in Teufelsmoor shaped her visual memory. After a one-year course at the Unitec School of Design in Auckland, New Zealand, she studied at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris in the studio of the Dutch painter Pat Andrea.
